Daily lives of Roman

I discovered some fascinating history while visiting Koln Germany. (Cologne, Germany)

A museum held artifacts about the daily lives of romans who lived in the first to third century. Displays with shoes, dice, lots of ceramics and children’s toys, such as carved animals: lions, dogs, horses, horse and cart.

Here you can see the couch and seating in the back. The men lounged, while the women sat in wicker chairs.

I also learned some fascinating details. Such as the girls took their father’s name and the boy’s took their mothers.

But my favorite was the idea of a female physican. How did that come about. What a story to investigate. This is where inspiration comes from.
