Hi, I’m Ava Clary (at least, that’s my pen name.)
I started writing books under this name about ten years ago. They’re mostly new adult romantic fantasy, romantasy and there’s a young adult adventure novels.
Whimsy and cozy.
Stories about finding the strength to live your life, even with crazy fairies (or faeries) and dysfunctional families.
I’m actually going to sunset this name, but I’m not completely gone. I still have stories I want to write. Not many people read my about page, so this is where I’m going to announce the sunset plan. I’ll probably delist the books too, eventually. I’m slowly going to remove links. For now though, for a limited time, you can still get the books on Amazon. Or contact me about getting an epub.

The stories I create are based on places I’ve traveled (the UK, Netherlands, and most recently Portugal.) They linger in my heart and I hope they do in yours too. Join me on these unforgettable adventures!
Like the Fairy Doctor Series, which debuted with Fairy Doctor Falls in Love. It’s set in a glamorous Singapore filled with magical creatures. Book 1 follows Lillia’s engagement. Or you can head to a strange snowy London for the prequel called Fairy Doctor Returns, where we discover how Lillia’s parents met.
With the second book in the series, Fairy Doctor In Disguise you’ll discover the mysterious island of Brimclif in the North Sea and head to Paris for some ill-advised museum activities. The final book in the series is called Fairy Doctor Rest in Peace and there’s an impromptu trip to Fairyland. (Sadly, I’ve not been there before!)

My current project is on Wattpad, a new story I’m working on called Odd Enchantments.

I wrote a limited-release Kindle Vella about a monster-hunting Academy in an alternate world, called The Thorn Path.

I still sometimes work on interactive fiction (but I do find it challenging. I think I have a hard time letting go of the narrative.)
